Get your keys
SaySo uses two accounts that you own: one to tidy your words (Groq — free) and one to hear you (Deepgram — dirt cheap). Grab a key from each, paste them into SaySo once, and you're set. Here's exactly what to click.
1 · Groq
FREEGo to console.groq.com and sign up — free, no card needed.
In the left-hand menu, click API Keys.
Click Create API Key, name it SaySo, and click Submit.
Copy the key right now — it starts with gsk_ and is shown only once.
Open SaySo → Settings → Your keys → AI key → Add key, and paste it. Done.
Good to know: Groq's free tier covers normal use — most people never pay a cent.
2 · Deepgram
PAID · DIRT CHEAPGo to console.deepgram.com/signup and make an account (Google or email). You add a card, but you're billed only for what you use — pennies.
In the left-hand menu, click API Keys.
Click Create a New API Key. Name it SaySo, leave the settings as they are, and click Create Key.
Copy the key right now — Deepgram shows it only once. It's a long line of letters and numbers.
Open SaySo → Settings → Your keys → Deepgram → Add key, and paste it. Done.
Cost: about 30¢ for a whole hour of talking, and only while you actually speak. (Building an AI startup? Deepgram offers up to $200 in startup credit — you can apply separately.)
That's it 🎉
Two keys, pasted once. SaySo remembers them — hold your key and talk.
